Fakenham Contemporary Art Exhibition 2009

 

A new contemporary art exhibition is being held from 2 July to 12 July 2009 in the historic and stimulating setting of Fakenham's 14th century Parish Church. Open to all Norfolk based emerging and established artists working in a full range of media, this vibrant and exciting exhibition will celebrate the creativity being practiced in our county.

Organised by Hillside Gallery & Studios, based in Fakenham, together with Fakenham Parish Church, the exhibition presents contemporary approaches to art with artists and makers in the county exhibiting work in the following media: ceramics, collage, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles.

  Opening Times
  The exhibition is open every day from Thursday 2 July 2009 until Sunday 12 July 2009 between 10.00am and 4.00pm (12pm and 4pm on Sundays). In addition, there is late opening between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Thursday 9 July 2009.
  Exhibition Events
 

Fakenham Contemporary Art Exhibition features the following events, all of which take place at Fakenham Parish Church:

Private View - Wednesday 1 July 2009. This event is invitation only. Please contact us for further information.

Service for Artists & the Arts - Sunday 5 July 2009, 10.30am. This event is open to all and we warmly invite you to come.

Arts Activity Day - Saturday 11 July 2009, 10.00am - 4.00pm. This will feature a number of artists demonstrating a range of techniques aimed at encouraging both adults and children to try something new and exciting.
